About Us

What We Believe

Non Nobis, Domine!
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
Psalm 115

Shepherd’s Heart is open to the moving of the Holy Spirit in worship and ministry, the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist, and the Holy Bible as the rule and guide of our faith and life.

We are Charismatic: We believe the Holy Spirit is present with us. Our members are trained to move in the prophetic, healing prayer, and other gifts of the Spirit.

We are Sacramental: We believe the Holy Eucharist to be a supernatural event where the living Jesus becomes present to us and feeds us with the spiritual food of His Body and Blood.

We are Evangelical: We believe the purpose of the church is to take the eternal Gospel of Jesus Christ into a dark and dying world. We pray continually for a revival of God’s Holy Spirit in our church and in the world.

Shepherd's Heart embraces the following statements of faith:

  1. The three ancient creeds of Christendom: Apostles, Nicene, and Athanasian.

  2. The Jerusalem Declaration - Faith statement from Anglican meeting in Jerusalem, Summer 2008 (click link for full text).

  3. The Constitution of the Anglican Province of North America (click link for full text).

Prayer is an integral part of our community and ministries. We welcome your prayer requests and encourage you to visit!

Our People

Shepherd's Heart may not be large in numbers, but each person is genuine. One young man was asked what brought him back and he said, "It just felt real."

We do laugh from the heart, but we cry from the heart too. Burdens, prayer requests, and specific needs are all shared within our community.

Come see what makes us different, we may be just what you are looking for!
